It works hard at keeping up appearances. They have good Montessori materials, but the staff are always busy and communication is overly formal given that it is dealing with 3, 4 & 5 year olds. They speak about Montessori philosphies, but do not necessarily abide by them: for example saying that they are non-competitive then comparing children to each other. The crowded hallways make for stressful drop-off and pick-up. The teachers do not get along well with the principal. It has been a good school in the past.
